Each user’s calendar sync will only sync activities owned by that user in Pipedrive.
Keeping track of all your upcoming tasks, whether business or personal, is crucial. Managing several calendars can lead to double-booking or missed appointments, which may cause unprofessional situations or lost deals. To avoid this, we recommend syncing your Pipedrive account to your preferred calendar system—Google, Exchange, Outlook, or Office—using Pipedrive’s calendar sync feature.
Setup
IMAP and POP sync configurations are not supported. If you encounter any problems with your calendar sync, please review our troubleshooting guide.
To enable the calendar sync, go to Personal Preferences > Calendar Sync and click “Add New Account.”
Provide the email address and password credentials for the calendar account you wish to sync with Pipedrive.
Settings
Currently, it's not possible to create recurring activities in Pipedrive. Recurring activities synced over from your provider cannot be edited in Pipedrive.
When syncing your calendar with Pipedrive, you can customise several options, such as which calendar to sync (if you have multiple) and the type of sync you wish to initiate.
You can also choose if deal and contact information should be included in your activities.
Only events and activities with future time will sync from your provider to Pipedrive.
Two-way Sync
When two-way sync is selected, activities created in Pipedrive will sync to the linked calendar, and events created in the linked calendar will sync to Pipedrive. Edits made to either will update the corresponding activity or calendar event.
When selecting "Save calendar events to Pipedrive as," this refers to the events in your synced calendar that will transfer to Pipedrive and the activity type they will have. This option appears only when two-way sync is selected.
One-way Sync
When one-way sync is selected, activities created in Pipedrive will sync to the linked calendar, but events created in the linked calendar will not create activities in Pipedrive. Changes made in the linked calendar to events created by Pipedrive activities will still update the activity in Pipedrive.
You can choose to sync any default activity types—call, meeting, task, deadline, email, lunch—or any custom activity types created for your company account. Learn more about activities and custom activity types in this article.
When selecting “Sync these Pipedrive activities to calendar,” choose which Pipedrive activity types you wish to sync to your calendar. If you prefer to keep any activities from being synced, unselect the relevant activity types.
Any changes made to these options—like changing which Pipedrive activities are synced—will be saved automatically in Pipedrive.
For another user, whether admin or regular, to have visibility of your activities, they need visibility of all the activity’s linked items.
