What is a Double Opt-In Contact?

  • A contact that confirms subscription via a confirmation email.

Finding Double Opt-In Contacts:

  • Create a filter in the people list view.

Identifying Opt-In Status:

  • Check "Marketing status" in the contacts view section.

Sending Double Opt-In Requests:

  • Click the contact, then “Send request” in the marketing section.

After Confirmation:

  • Pipedrive saves the confirmation time, date, and IP address.

Changing Marketing Status:

  • You can revert "PENDING DOUBLE OPT-IN" to "Subscribed" or "Unsubscribed".

  • No verified sender, previous request sent, or permissions issues.

Request Limit:

  • Up to 100 double opt-in requests per 24 hours.
