Get your CRM ready for AI
Every CRM platform is building AI in. We measure what your data lets it do today, and whether your buyers ask AI search about you at all.
Getting your CRM ready for AI means two things: making sure the data in your CRM is complete, consistent and current enough for its AI features to act on, and finding out whether your buyers ask AI search engines about you at all. Flowbird answers both, separately, and says so when the honest answer is "not yet".
Why does AI make good data urgent?
Every major CRM platform is now building AI into its core product: predictive lead scoring, automated enrichment, intelligent forecasting, personalised content. Every one of these features depends entirely on the quality and completeness of the underlying data. Just 13% of organisations are fully ready for AI (Cisco AI Readiness Index, 2025). The gap is not a technology gap. It is a data gap, and Flowbird closes it.
Where the data is missing, AI does not fail loudly. It produces plausible output that is wrong, which is worse: lead scoring trained on empty fields, an agent acting on three copies of the same customer, a forecast built on stale deal values.
What does an AI readiness check cover?
- What your CRM's AI features would be able to act on today, and what to fix before they are worth switching on.
- Duplicates, empty fields and lifecycle stages, checked against what each AI feature reads.
- The three to five agents or automations worth building first, and the data each one depends on.
- Whether your buyers use AI search, at which point in the decision, and what they ask it.
- What ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Microsoft Copilot and Claude say when we run those questions, and which sources they draw from.
- Where your brand is described inconsistently across the sources those engines read.
How do we get your CRM ready for AI?
- Talk it through. A free discovery call about what you have been sold, what you are being pitched and what you want AI to do.
- Measure the data. The CRM & ERP Opportunity Audit measures what your CRM's AI features could act on today, and lists what to fix first.
- Check the outside view. The AI Visibility Diagnostic establishes whether your buyers use AI search, and what it currently says about you.
- Fix what matters first. The fixes ranked by what they unlock, so the AI features you already pay for start earning their keep.
- Prove one agent. The AI agent pilot builds one agent where your CRM already lives and measures it for two weeks before anything is scaled.
What will we not do?
- Switch on an AI feature the data under it cannot support.
- Quote an AI search programme before we know your buyers use AI search.
- Build an agent before the data it depends on is fit.
- Treat "wait" as a failure: for some sectors it is the right answer today.
Frequently asked questions
Do our buyers actually use AI search?
That is a different question from whether AI search is growing. It is growing; whether it is growing among your buyers varies enormously by sector. Construction, manufacturing and mortgage broking behave very differently from software and professional services, so we start from your own analytics and your buyers' own words rather than the headline.
Why will you not quote AI search work first?
Because we would be guessing. What makes a brand visible to an answer engine depends on which sources that engine draws from for your category, and that is not knowable before we look.
What happens if the answer is no?
You get the report and we recommend you wait. That is a real outcome, and for some of the sectors Flowbird works in it is the likely one today. The report still gives you a baseline to re-run in a year.
How is AI search different from SEO?
Search engine optimisation is about ranking a page. Answer engine optimisation is about being the source an answer is assembled from, and the page an engine cites is often not yours. A strong ranking does not guarantee you are in the answer.
How much does it cost?
The data side is part of the CRM & ERP Opportunity Audit: a fixed price, two weeks, and a go or no-go on whether your data is ready. The AI Visibility Diagnostic is a fixed fee too. Both are listed on our Pricing page. They are separate pieces of work and neither depends on the other.
