Every ticket sold is invoiced in Xero.
Flowbird connected Accelevents, HubSpot and Xero for an international events business, so every ticket sold creates its HubSpot deal and its Xero invoice, in the currency the customer paid. The same work moved the business's invoicing from Sage to Xero, and its community memberships from Circle and Stripe with it.
The ticket sale drives the deal, the invoice and the attendance record.
An Accelevents webhook starts each sale in Make. HubSpot gets the contact and the deal, with the buyer and every attendee linked to it, and Xero gets the invoice, with its ID passed back to HubSpot. Check-ins at the event update the contact's events attended.
KEY OUTCOMES
Document the existing Zapier workflows field by field, from Accelevents and Circle through HubSpot to Sage.
Rebuild them in Make against Xero, using Accelevents' own API for currency and fees, with separate live and test copies.
Read the event's country from its address and choose the Xero account code and VAT treatment to match, after the EU rules changed in July 2026.
Fix errors as they arrive, from unmatched tracking categories to currencies not yet enabled in Xero.
Ticket sales, invoices and attendance in step, whatever the currency.
