Won deals become draft invoices in one click.
Invoices were retyped from closed deals in Pipedrive into Xero, which took time and made invoicing inconsistent. Flowbird connected the two with Make.
A button on the deal that raises the invoice.
Flowbird built a Make workflow triggered from a button in Pipedrive. It fetches the property address, reference number and purchase order from the deal and creates the draft invoice in Xero, linked to that deal.
KEY OUTCOMES
Agree which deal fields the invoice needs: property address, reference number and purchase order.
Add a button in Pipedrive so the invoice is raised when someone chooses, not by accident.
Build the reference as deal title, reference and PO number, leaving out a blank or "n/a" PO.
Strip words such as "void" and "decant" from the reference automatically.
The finance team gained a faster, more consistent invoicing process, with fewer errors, without changing the systems they already used.

Invoicing became a click on the deal, not a second round of typing.
