Before partnering with Flowbird, Countrystyle Recycling was experiencing rapid growth across its Sales, Broker and Key Accounts teams. While the business was performing strongly, its systems and processes were under increasing pressure.

Understandably, different parts of the business had different priorities. While the logistics team focused on service delivery and equipment distribution, the processing and commercial teams needed to prioritise issuing quotes, onboarding new customers and supporting existing accounts. While everyone was focused on high-quality customer engagement, behind-the-scenes systems were strained and the leadership team wanted solutions in place before cracks appeared.

As customer numbers increased, so did the complexity of managing quotes, contracts and service delivery at scale. The business recognised that without better-connected systems, it would become harder to sustain service levels, protect margins and support future growth.

Flowbird looked carefully at the processes already in place to identify where improvements could be made. It was clear that existing processes on HubSpot needed to be overhauled, and new service features were needed that reflected team priorities and ensured data was clean and reliable. Longer term input was also needed to support the team and future-proof systems.

The Flowbird Difference

Flowbird worked closely with Countrystyle Recycling to implement a more connected CRM and systems environment, reshaping processes to meet a growing customer base.

Retaining the HubSpot platform that the Countrystyle Recycling team was used to, Flowbird migrated systems and data into a new, improved HubSpot arrangement. Introducing new platforms including Knack and Make, we created a tailor-made professional quote process that supported quotes for even the most complex client requirements. This CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) system reduced errors and automated workflows, building in efficiency and allowing the team to focus on client interaction.

With a single, reliable view of customers across sales, account management and service delivery now in place, teams had access to the same up-to-date information, improving decision-making and creating a better customer experience. Our work continued as the team embraced the new integrated and automated processes, with ongoing support available to guide employees and add in additional automation as customer needs grew.

Confident that customer interactions were being managed efficiently and effectively, the Countrystyle Recycling team were able to focus on growth. By the end of the year, their results were outstanding:

  • Over 1,500 new customers onboarded
  • 6,500 new bins, skips and roll-on roll-off containers delivered
  • 40 percent increase in Trade lifts secured
  • 99.7 percent on-time service delivery achieved
  • £4.2 million in business growth confirmed.
